Vintage Jeckle-Jansen “Schorshi” Künstlerpuppe Artist Doll – 17” Baby Doll – Bald / Repair Project

This vintage Jeckle-Jansen Künstlerpuppe artist doll, named “Schorshi,” is a unique and expressive collectible from the early 1990s. Known for their detailed craftsmanship, Jeckle-Jansen dolls are highly regarded among collectors, and Schorshi is a wonderful example with a distinctive, lifelike design.

This doll features a beautifully sculpted baby face with a wide open-mouth expression, giving the appearance of a yawn or coo. The detailed facial features, including softly painted skin tones and expressive eyes, make this doll especially eye-catching and full of personality.

Schorshi is dressed in a soft floral outfit with a lace-trimmed collar, adding to the vintage nursery charm. The doll has a vinyl head, hands, and feet with a soft cloth body, making it suitable for display and light posing. It measures approximately 16–18 inches tall.

Please note: the doll is missing its original hair/wig, which has come off over time. Because of this, it is being sold as-is and would be perfect for a collector, restorer, or someone interested in customizing or restoring vintage dolls.

Despite this, the doll remains a lovely and unique collectible piece with strong display presence.
